Big Brother is watching
by J. Christoph Amberger, Publisher
All the publications in the Taipan network strive to give you the most incisive, most profitable investment advice money can buy in our monthly letters, our hotlines, and on this Web site. But there is one thing we cannot provide for you.
As U.S.-based publishers of information, Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations prohibit us from providing you with what they consider "personal" investment advice. Unfortunately, this means that our editors cannot answer your personal questions regarding the securities we feature in our publications.
In fact, as stupid as this may sound, even the statement "My opinion hasn't changed," referring to an editorial or hotline could be considered "non-impersonal investment advice."
This is not meant to discourage you from writing to us in any way.
It's just that we cannot reply to your investment-specific question
personally. If our staff finds your comment or question particularly
timely or of interest to all our subscribers, we will address it
in a special report, hotline, or alert. To contact Taipan staff,
please go to our Contact page.
