TALK Expansion
By Ian L. Cooper
Continue to hold Talk America (TALK:NASDAQ). After recently expanding into its first West Coast RBOC region, the company has stretched its reach and is reporting a 70 percent jump in local and long distance bundle sales from the third to fourth quarter of last year. The future looks good for this company. By the end of 2001, Talk is hoping for a national presence in 28 states, covering close to 70 percent of the residential U.S. population.
Rake in the Profits with 10 Hot Stocks Under US$3
Based on a clearly visible worldwide slowdown in IT spending and the fact that this Bangalore company was overvalued and in a downward trend, Christian DeHaemer decided to short one of Indias biggest moneymakers, Infosys.
Though it was touted by the U.S. media as the next big thing, he went against the grain and shorted it at US$82. Less than one month later, we sat back and watched as Christians prediction became a reality. It fell to US$64 for a quick 22 percent gain.
We also recommended ViroLogic (VLGC:NASDAQ), a biotech company that develops and markets products for better treatment of viral diseases. In less than one week, we raked in a quick 118 percent profit. Why continue to miss out?
