Time to Take More Profits

It’s time to rid our Taipan portfolio
of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD:NYSE).
If you bought in at US$5.55, sell it today at
US$6.17 for an 11% gain. With the market starting
to waffle, take your profits off the table.

Just yesterday, the company announced it was
throwing a pink slip party for a significant
numbers of employees as it continues to struggle
with weak customer demand. It will also take
a charge of “several hundred million dollars”
for cost cuts in its Q4. Fortunately, AMD is

growth.
