TLK up 13%

Earlier this week, Christian DeHaemer recommended
that you take a position in PT Telekomunikasi
Indonesia (TLK:NYSE) at US$5.50. Just five
days later, we’re already up 13% and are continuing
to hold. If it hits our US$8 price target, sell
it and take the 45% gain. Congratulations on
your current gains.
We also want to hold on to our Dollar General
(DG:NYSE) play. DG’s same-store sales were
up 5%. Even though this was below the expected
5.7%, it still fell within prior guidance of
5% to 7%. Total sales for the five week period
ended October 4 were up more than 14% to US$567.6
million from the US$497 million posted one year
earlier. For October, DG expects same-store
sales growth of 3% to 5% with total sales up
11% to 14%.
