Book-um Dano!  Bag an Average 137% on three plays in two months!

By Ian L. Cooper

About a month and a half ago, Chrsitian DeHaemer recommended that you take a position in five tech plays so beaten down that they were waving their hands in the air, jumping up and down and screaming “buy me.”

So we did.  A month later, we’re sitting on three triple digit winners, and two double-digit winners.  As I write this, we’re up 131% on NT, 156% on AKAM, and 125% on CIEN.  That’s in addition to the 82% we already took on LU, and the 11% we raked in with AMD.

Now the market is looking like the end of an exhaustive run-up.  The Volatility Index has fallen to 25, indicating a short-term bearish scenario.  Furthermore, anything can happen over the long holiday weekend.  I don’t want to leave these kinds of profits on the table

Its time to put the money in the bank.  Sell Nortel (NT:NYSE), Akamai (AKAM:NASDAQ) and Ciena (CIEN:NASDAQ) at the market.

World Investor

No one ever went broke taking profits.  Sell TLK for a quick 35% gains.  This one is getting close to our target of $8.  It is now trading at $7.50.  That’s close enough for me.  Bank Indonesia Telkcom (TLK:NYSE).

Unfortunately, we do have to bid adieu to one loser that has hit our stop loss.  Sell DG today.  Earnings were not great, and the future doesn’t look any brighter.
